Booked and paid for a car rental in Brisbane

Booked and paid for a car rental in April. Arrived end of June to find that the car company had no booking. Expedia had taken my money without letting the car rental company know. It was school holidays and no cars available. Out of pocket for cabs, trains and alternate travel as well as missed a precious day at my destination. Sent many emails and receipts but still no response three months later.

Y'all know how it works right

Y'all know how it works right? If you go to the shady scam site Expedia.com, the reviews will be wonderful. And here they don't even have 2 stars. I'm sure i don't need to explain how that works. And that Expedia is the worst company Washington state ever shat out. If the hotel your booking a room at, doesn't work with Expedia your SCREWED! They really DO NOT CARE! And it shows, so congratulations Expedia, I hope your little ponzi schemes go well!

went to Spain for a family emergency…

went to Spain for a family emergency from the US. Flight was cancelled and when I called Expidia, they were not help at all. I spend a lot of money on phone bill. I was left alone in a forein country with little money, not assistance with hotel or transportation. No money for food. Made it to the us 2 days late. Had to depend on charity of strangers to survive and for transportation.

I was carefull to keep all names and times of Expidia employees I spoke with and will file a report with ACC and BBB.

Stole my money

I reserved and paid for three nights at Hilton Garden Inn downtown Dallas thru Expedia. This was for my daughter. She did not check in on the first night and the hotel marked her "no show" even though the room was paid for in advance. It never said that her room would be "resold" any where if she didn't check-in the first night when the entire stay was prepaid. - it said changes could be charged - so I guess "changes" was anything they wish it to be. Expedia did nothing to help with the situation. How they have fallen!!!! So Expedia and Hilton got paid for absolutely nothing and are no help with anything I'll never do business with either again. There's a problem when corporations no longer care about their customers!

Hotel nightmare

Booked 2-rooms for 4 adults for 2 nights for family emergency, we called hotel the next day as we found out we needed to stay an extra 2 nights and the lady said yes our rooms were available for 2 more nights, when she went in to add them, she said sorry but we had to have Expedia add those 2 more nights, so I contacted Expedia to do so, Lars said he would check and after 5min came back and said they didn't, I told him I had already checked and they did, he said yeah but those other nights were refundable rooms not non-refundable ones (WHAT) the hotel said they are the same that its Expedia that tells you that, Expedia is a scam, how hard is it to add 2-nights, I called hotel back and got the rooms with the added nights with no problem and at cheaper rate. Disputing charge with card company now, love my Apple card.

I will rate Expedia Travel 0 star

I will rate Expedia Travel 0 star if I they have an option for that. To be honest, I am not English native speaker so I could not communicate well with them. The guy who helped me on the phone was so rude. He keeps continuing yelling at me and shouted on my face.

I wonder why Expedia do not allow customers to redeem credit online. It's not comfortable if their staff requested the customers to provide credit card number to process the transaction. I will never use this service again. I swear!!!

Buyer beware:
Expedia scammed me out of my refund by canceling my travel insurance instead of canceling by booking. Now I don't have travel insurance for my booking and I can not receive a refund from my hotel. They don't even have an email for help anymore. I search for an email and all I found was this, help@expedia, I received an email from that address saying that the email address was retired. After talking to customer support several times, I received an email saying I am not entitled to receive a refund because the hotel will not give one because I canceled my insurance, no Expedia canceled my insurance. I am going to report Expedia to the BBB and any other consumer reporting agency I can find. My friends and I will create a Tic Tok campaign exposing Expedia's unfair business practices to promote "Do not make reservations through Expedia or any other 3rd party booking agency. Just find the deal and book through the businesses directly."

Artificial Intelligence runs the company. No humans at all.

I booked a round trip to and from Vienna. They have me coming back from Zurich. Expedia, that's a different country!
Absolutely NO way to communicate with them. Chat puts you in an endless loop after they verified the wrong info, then disables further conversation. Don't even try to call customer service. The computer won't let you get near a human. Try calling corporate offices. Oh wait, it's disconnected.

This company is so bogus

This company is so bogus! Whatever you do, DO NOT buy travel insurance booked a business trip. Bought the cancellation policy. Crew came down with Covid and needed to leave. Even though crew checked out from Courtyard Marriott in Waldorf Md before 11 am, neither the hotel or these great people refunded night not used. Travel insurance is worthless and so is Expedia and Marriott!! Hope you enjoy profits for service not used

I booked a flight yesterday and when I came online to print my itinerary today the flight was not booked and now it costs over $1200 more. Can you please assist me?
